In 2013, my husband Dave, our friend Nathan, and I took over The Oyster Bar with a shared passion for great food and a welcoming atmosphere. What began as my first serving job has grown into a dream come true—a place where our team makes every guest feel at home.
About The Oyster Bar
Hello, thanks for coming in today! My name is Christina, and my husband Dave, and I, along with our best friend and business partner, Nathan, bought The Oyster Bar in 2013, and expanded in 2016. I started as a server in October of 2003, the very first day it opened, and never dreamed that I would be an owner. I became a bartender, and then manager. Even after leaving to pursue restaurant management in other areas, I was led to return when the owner was ready to move on. Dave is a New Braunfels High School Alumni, and resident since elementary school, and had his own turn at restaurant management success. After Nathan brought his amazing knack for fresh flavors and conscientious food to the table, we immediately rebuilt the kitchen and created a new menu. Together, we all rounded out the team to turn The Oyster Bar into what it is today; a fun, relaxed atmosphere with attention to detail, consistency, and delicious food, along with an amazing team of employees who really make The Oyster Bar feel like a special place where you belong.
