Parking Program

Downtown has become more vibrant and exciting, and with that growth comes higher demand for parking. A managed parking system is designed to make your visit easier by keeping convenient spaces available, reducing congestion, and supporting local businesses. Instead of a “first come, first served” approach, the system uses simple tools like pricing and time limits to encourage turnover so more visitors can find a spot when they need one.

The new program applies to about 30% of downtown’s on-street spaces, while more than 500 spaces will remain completely free. The first hour is always free, and after that it’s just $2 per hour with a daily maximum of $10. Parking is easy—simply scan a QR code, enter your license plate, and start your session. Parking ambassadors will also be on hand to assist. For those who’d prefer not to pay, there are still plenty of free public lots and open spaces available nearby.

This system ensures that shoppers and visitors have better access to businesses, rather than spaces being taken up all day by employees or long-term parkers. It also gives you the freedom to decide what your time and convenience are worth, making downtown more welcoming and accessible for everyone.
